Cristiano Ronaldo delivered a mesmerizing performance on Tuesday, propelling Al-Nassr to a remarkable 3-2 comeback victory against Al-Shabab and postponing Al-Ittihad's Saudi Pro League title celebrations.

With just two games left in the season, Al-Ittihad remains the frontrunner to clinch the championship after securing a hard-fought 1-0 win against Al-Batin courtesy of Romarinho's ninth-minute header.

Sitting atop the league table with 66 points, Al-Ittihad holds a three-point lead over Al-Nassr and enjoys the upper hand in the head-to-head tiebreaker, which could be crucial if the teams finish level on points.

At Al-Awwal Park in Riyadh, Al-Nassr fans were left in disbelief as their team conceded two goals by Cristian Guanca, one of which came from a penalty, within the first 40 minutes of the match.

Nevertheless, Brazilian playmaker Talisca revived Al-Nassr's hopes just before halftime with a crucial goal, reinvigorating the team's chances of staying in the title race.

Abdel-Rahman Ghareeb then levelled the scores six minutes into the second half, setting the stage for a captivating finish.

It was Ronaldo, however, who stole the show with his exceptional abilities.

The Portuguese striker completed the remarkable comeback in the 59th minute, unleashing a sublime curling shot from just outside the box that found the back of the net.

The moment of glory was met with an outpouring of joy from Ronaldo's teammates, who immediately swarmed him in celebration.

In a show of respect and solidarity with his Muslim teammates and fans, Ronaldo went on to break away and prostrate himself on the turf, mimicking the pose Muslims adopt during prayer.

Speaking to SSC TV after the game, Ronaldo expressed his delight with the team's performance, saying, "The team played a fantastic game. Being behind 2-0 is very difficult, but we believed until the end, and we scored three goals."

On the other side, Al-Ittihad goalkeeper Marcelo Grohe was visibly disappointed upon learning the final score at Al-Nassr.

However, all hope is not lost for Al-Ittihad, as they still have a chance to secure their first league title since 2009.

They must defeat 12th-placed Al-Feiha in their upcoming match on Saturday to seal the championship.

The pressure is on as Al-Ittihad aims to overcome this setback and claim the long-awaited glory.
