School Feeding: NHGSFP Commends Gombe Governor For Supportin

The National Home Grown School Feeding Programme (NHGSFP) has commended governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya over his support to sustain the programme in Gombe State. 

Arch. Habu Muhammad Shinga, Special Adviser on Social Investment made the commendation on an inspection visit to the recently commissioned Alabura Model Primary School, Kumbiya-Kumbiya and Hassan Central Primary School in the state.

Shinga said he was at the schools with his team to monitor the progress of the programme while noting areas of improvement.

He further expressed satisfaction over the support given to the programme by the governor in order for it to prosper. 

"We are very much satisfied with what we see; all stakeholders are doing their best towards the success of the programme."

This was made available in a statement by the media aide to the governor, Ismaila Uba Misilli. 

While stressing the support given by the governor, Shinga said, "Without the counterpart funding for this programme from Gombe State Government, this programme would not have been implemented in Gombe State. 

"Thanks to His Excellency Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for always standing for the interest of his people."

Shinga further thanked the vendors and other stakeholders who he described as "The main reason behind the success of the programme in Gombe State".
