The General Overseer of The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN), Temitope Balogun Joshua popularly known as TB Joshua has been reported dead. He was 57.
The news was disclosed to AllNews Nigeria through a close source to the ministry on Saturday evening in Lagos. The source said he died after a brief illness.
The Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) is yet to confirm the report while efforts to get a confirmation has not been successful.
TB Joshua was the leader and founder of The Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN), a Christian megachurch that runs the Emmanuel TV television station from Lagos.
In 2014, the church was at the centre of a multi-national investigation following the collapse of a section of the church headquarters in Lagos. Scores of casualties were recorded.
TB Joshua denied allegations of negligence and a trial over the incident was still underway before the report of his death.
