See Full List Of Nigerian Police Salary Structure

The salary structure of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) under the Federal Government led by President Muhammadu Buhari has emerged.

AllNews understands that the salary structure of officers of the Nigeria Police Force is coming into limelight at a time protesting youths in Nigeria are agitating for the end to police brutalization and extrajudicial killings of Nigerians.

The #EndSARs protesters have been on the streets for over a week now, protesting the brutalities, humiliation, and extortion of Nigerians, especially the youths.

Demands of the #EndSARS protesters include but not limited to an end to the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), a police unit under the Force Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department headed by the Deputy Inspector General of Police Anthony Ogbizi, using a hashtag: #EndSARS.

Although, the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Mohammed Adamu, on Sunday, October 11, 2020, disbanded SARS and created Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Team to fill the gaps arising from the dissolution of the defunct SARS following a widespread protest from Nigerians worldwide.

Amid the ongoing #EndSARS and #EndSWAT protests, police salary structure has emerged, this is as the protesters are also agitating for a better salary structure for the police.

Below is the Nigeria Police Salary Structure:

Constable- N46,000- N47,000

Corporal- N52,000- N53,000

Sergeant- N62,000- N63,000,

Unconfirmed 1 bar- N78,000

Confirmed Inspector - 2 bars – N123,000

One star-ASP- N132,000-N134,000

Confirmed ASP- N139,000
