See Photos: Sowore Appears In Court With ‘Juju’ Man

It appears Nigerian rights advocate and publisher of Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowore, has gone beyond the physical in defending himself at the court of law.

On Tuesday, the activist shared pictures of himself walking into the courtroom and it appeared that he was being accompanied to the courtroom by a ‘juju’ man.

According to the dictionary, juju is “a charm or fetish, especially of a type used by some West African peoples.”

Sowore titled the pictures “The Gods Are Not To Blame,” which is a title of a drama text by the Nigerian foremost dramatist, Ola Rotimi, but could also be interpreted that he cannot be blamed for his decision.
