Beauty they cannot be measured on a scientific scale, and yet we know it when we see one. Such is that of Mary Daniels, an amputee hawker found on the streets of Lagos and transformed by some good samaritan.

The single mother was found sometime in March 2021 hawking on one leg with her crutches supporting her on the other side in traffic selling sachet water.

In days, 14 million Naira was raised for the hardworking woman who wouldn’t let her condition hold her back.

Last week, the Lagos State Government led-by Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu said it has taken over the welfare of the hawker, provided a temporary shelter for her to avoid being defrauded by unsuspecting fraudsters.

Daniels was praised for not allowing her condition hold her back from succeeding.

Today being her 27th birthday, a youth leader and promoter of Culturati event, Idris Aregbe organised a photoshoot with a complete professional makeup and styling.

The aftermath of photo bumping instantly transformed Olajumoke into a celebrity, making the cover-pages and becoming runway model, even as several companies were queuing at her doorstep to tap into her luck by making her a brand ambassador.
