Manchester City marched towards a fifth English Premier League (EPL) crown on Saturday following their narrow home win over West Ham United.
City won their 20th straight game in all competitions and opened up a 12-point lead in the EPL by beating David Moyes' men 2-1 thanks to goals from centre-backs Ruben Dias and John Stones.
On Sunday, Arsenal recorded their first away win against a top three EPL team for six years when they defeated Leicester City 3-1.
The triumph in the East Midlands means the Gunners are just seven points shy of European competition place.
On the same day, Jose Mourinho's Spurs side ended a run of five losses in six top flight games when they trashed Burnley at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
It is noteworthy that around late 2020, Spurs were flying, leading the 2020-21 EPL season table. However, they've found themselves in a situation whereby they now have to fight for at least a Europa League spot.
While Chelsea and Manchester United shared the spoils at Stamford Bridge, Liverpool finally ended a four-match EPL losing run after an impressive victory over bottom-side Sheffield at Bramall Lane.
