See When Marcus Rashford Will Return To Man United Training

Manchester United striker, Marcus Rashford could make a training comeback at the English Premier League (EPL) giants by the end of August.

The England forward underwent surgery two weeks ago to correct an issue with his shoulder.

According to The Sun, United have been impressed with Rashford's recovery and he could return to light duties within the next 10 days.

Rashford pushed through Euro 2020 with the complaint.

Updating his followers on social media last week, the 23-year-old had written: "Thank you for all the well wishes. I had my surgery on Friday morning and everything went very well.

"A little sore but other than that I'm feeling good. Hope you're all having a great day!"

In a piece of related news, a giant image of Rashford has been painted on the side of Highgate Wood School, a secondary school and sixth form college. It spans three storeys and features the footballer in his England shirt. The slogan ‘Just look at what we can do when we come together’ is written above him and ‘co-operation, contribution, consideration and courtesy’ below.

Assistant headteacher Jen Burniston had the idea for the painting. She said in a press release that the star’s off-field activities – like his brilliant work campaigning for free school meals for kids – had inspired her to commemorate him on the building. "After such a difficult year for all students nationwide, we felt we would like to honour the phenomenal contribution from Marcus Rashford to support students on free school meals," she said.
