Seek Allah's Intervention In Nigeria's Affairs — JNI

Jama’atu Nasrul Islam (JNI), Jigawa State Chapter has asked Muslims to intensify prayers for Allah's Intervention in the affairs of Nigeria, especially in the last ten days.

JNI made the appeal in a statement issued by its Secretary, Malam Muhammad Babangida on Sunday in Dutse.

Babangida said all Muslims should commit themselves to sustained prayers in view of the hardship and destitution in the society, including fuel scarcity, shortage of electricity and effect of Naira redesign policy.

“All these have serious negative impacts on the welfare of ordinary citizens,” he said.

The Muslim said "brothers and sisters to use the opportunity of last days of fasting period to double efforts in praying to Allah, the Most High, for His mercy and generosity in providing solution to these problems."

Babangida said the JNI also request those in authority and wealthy individuals to ease the pains of ordinary Nigerians suffering economic hardships.

“It is the hope and prayer of the JNI that Allah in his infinite mercy, will guide our leaders to steer the affairs of the citizens with sympathy and compassion.

“May the Almighty Allah accept our payers and guide our leaders to blameless actions and assist them to make policies which would exclusively and positively improve mankind’s happiness and welfare,” he added.
