Senate President's Media Aide Dies After Road Crash

Abdukadir Isa, a media aide to the Senate President Ahmad Lawan is dead.

This was announced on Saturday via a statement issued by the Special Adviser to the Senate President, Ola Awoniyi.

The statement indicated that Mohammed died on Friday night following injuries he sustained in an accident that occurred five days ago.

Part of the statement reads: “With total submission to the will of God, we deeply regret to announce the death of Special Assistant to the Senate President on Media, Mohammed Abdulkadir Isa.

“Mohammed Isa died on Friday night while undergoing treatment for injuries he earlier sustained in a motor accident on Sunday along the Minna-Suleja road, in Niger State.”

The remains of the deceased were interred on Friday afternoon in Funtua, Katsina State according to Islamic rites.

Former Senate President, Bokola Saraki and other stakeholders have continued to send condolences to the former presidential aspirant over the death of his aide.
