Serie A: Juventus Crowned Champions Of Italy For 36th Time,

Juventus has won the 36th Scudetto and has won it for the 9th time in a row. Juventus has mathematically won the Scudetto with 7 points clear at the top with 2 games left in the Serie A, 2-0 win against Sampdoria gave them the edge they needed to win the title for the 2019-20 season.

Cristiano Ronaldo is also chasing his first Golden boot in the Old Lady jersey, with a goal in the match closed the gap with Ciro Immobile to 3 goals and the two remaining games would be the deciding game for the top scorer in the league.

The 35-year old player has been in top scoring form, converting from penalties, aerial chances, long-range shots, and even ended a long streak of not scoring from free-kicks this campaign. He opened the scoring against Sampdoria on Sunday night with the second goal coming from Federico Bernardeschi to make it 2-0.

The Portuguese came close to increasing his goal tally with a penalty but he lost it. That goal was crucial to him since he is chasing Immobile for the Golden boot.

Maurizio Sarri has also won his first Scudetto in his career as a manager, with just the Europa League in his cabinet, he can now add the Scudetto and wait till the final day to be finally crowned, Champions of Italy.
