This comes after they have docked 15 points due to an investigation into their transfer dealings. Monza scored the first goal through Ciurria after 18 minutes and doubled their lead before halftime with a goal from Mota.

Despite dominating the second half, Juventus was unable to score past Monza keeper Di Gregorio, who made several crucial saves.
