Serie A: Milan 1-1 Atalanta; Juventus A Win Away From 36th S

Milan drew Atalanta at the San Siro on Friday night to leave Juventus at the top with 5 points and a win away from claiming the Scudetto for the 36th time and 9th time in a row since 2011/2012.

The full-fledged Atalanta team is breaking records and showing all signs of not slowing down with brilliant performance both in the Italian Serie A and in the UEFA Champions League. Atalanta has already secured a place in the top 4 with 75 points. They relinquish the opportunity of moving closer to Juventus with the draw at Milan.

The match was almost in the Milan favour when Çalhanoğlu scored a free-kick from a very tight angle to make it 1-0 in the early stages of the match. Atalanta got a penalty but Ruslan Malinovsky lost it when Gianluigi Donnarumma saved it to keep the match on Milan side.

Duvan Zapata scored in the 34th minutes to level the game and leave the score at 1-1.

The rest of the game was just shots off target, shot hitting the bar which could not really affect the scoreline.

There was not much about the match with the game ending at 1-1 with both goals scored in the first half.

The goal from Duvan Zapata takes him to 6th on the goalscoring chart and total haul to 18 goals.
