WWE superstar Seth Rollins has spoken about the scary moment he was attacked by a fan while walking out of the wrestling arena.
The unexpected occurrence took place on Monday during the Raw show as Rollins made his way towards the entrance after his match with Finn Balor.
TMZ reports that the wrestler opened up about the incident, stating he was shocked and terrified, adding that he believes the fan who attacked him should be banned temporarily.
Rollins, 35, arrived in Los Angeles within 24 hours after being speared by the fan and admitted that he was shaken by what had transpired.
"It's terrifying, brother", he said. "It happened very quickly. I was mostly just reacting and hoping that our security would come and do their job. Which they did very quickly. And then was just trying to detach and move on. Hope that everybody is okay."
As expected, there were speculations on the probability of the whole thing being staged as part of the show, something Rollins was quick to shut down.
"Once the tackle happened I knew what was going on. The guy was barreling around the corner", he stated.
Speaking further, he disclosed that he didn't sustain any injury in the aftermath of the attack.
"No, no serious injuries. Nothing like that. I was safe, we were safe. Everything was okay."
The WWE superstar also made it clear that he didn't want to see the fan sitting ringside at subsequent events anytime soon.
"I think as a precedence he probably should not be allowed at the events", he said.
