Seun Kuti Reacts To Peter Okoye's Bashing

Seun Kuti has reacted to Peter Okoye after he slammed him. 

Peter Okoye has been slamming Seun Kuti for calling Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi an opportunist.

In a post, Peter argued that Seun's music is irrelevant, wondering who would have known him if it weren't for his father, Afrobeat legend Fela Kuti.

He stated that citizens should focus on the future and that Fela's songs were anti-government but radio stations continued to play them.

Seun who wasn't pleased, boasted about being nominated for a Grammy, whereas Peter had never been nominated. 

"Hahahaha. Ahistorical punks. How many fela's song is played on radio today?

"In democracy! Talk more of military era.

"Our music has always been powered by the people not your platform godfathers!!

"Infact your Zombie was outrightly banned from being played.

"Fela had to smuggle sorrow tears and blood into this country.

"Which Fela music dey radio. Shutup and go and steal someone's song abeg jare."
