OpenSea is built on the Ethereum blockchain and was the first platform to bring NFT trading into the mainstream and has all sorts of digital assets available on its platforms such as art, domain names, in-game items, and more.

OpenSea is free to sign up and browse the extensive offerings. It has reached over one million users since its launch and supports artists and creators and has an easy-to-use process for creating NFT (known as "minting").

Since the marketplace's launch, it has sold more than $100 million of NFTs, and creators are believed to have earned a combined 54,992 ETH – about $155 million at the time of writing.

Artists are summoned to the platform by the Foundation community, and buyers simply need a crypto wallet funded with Ethereum to start making purchases.
