It is sad that most Nigerians use the Internet to cyberbully celebrities and high-profile Nigerian officials.
Cyberbullying can be defined as bullying that takes place on the internet or on digital devices such as phones, computers, etc.
The most common place where cyberbullying occurs is online through social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, etc.
Cyberbullying is not directed at one particular group of people but everyone is prone to cyberbullying.
In Nigeria, celebrities and high-profile Nigerians including political officials are usually cyberbullied and sadly, they can do little or nothing about it.

Some Nigerians have taken it upon themselves to always troll and insult him on every social media platform he appears on.
Davido is also a victim of cyberbullying by some Nigerians and rival fans of other musicians and it like all the others, it takes place on social media platforms.
Oftentimes, when the singer tweets on Twitter or posts on Instagram, there will be online bullies waiting to troll and insult him.
However, Davido is also very good at ignoring these cyberbullies and he is always appreciated for ignoring them.
Desmond Eliot used to be loved by Nigerians when he was a Nollywood actor, however, since he joined Nigerian politics, he has earned himself a lot of haters who will do anything to see him sad.
The trolls go under his comment section on all his social media platforms, trolling, insulting him and calling him all sorts of names.
