American Country singer and reality show host, Daniel Lee Martin, has committed suicide amid a child sex abuse investigation.
His body was found dead by the police in his house in Florida while attempting to serve him several warrants.
According to a statement from the People magazine, the warrants included three counts of sexual exploitation on a minor and three counts of aggravated sexual battery.
A spokesperson for the Pasco County Sheriff’s office told the publication: ‘Martin did not respond to attempts to make contact with him. ‘
Martin was first charged for allegedly exposing his nakedness to a young girl on January 27, which the young girl revealed on November 1, 2019, at TMZ.
He was however released on $15,000 (£11.4k) bail, and due to stand trial on multiple child abuse charges next month.
