Seye Kosoko Steps Down As FBN Holdings Secretary

Seye Kosoko has stepped down from his position as the secretary of FBN Holdings Plc.

The news is contained in the company's press statement which it sent to the management of the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX), operators of the Nigerian stock exchange.

As a rule on the Nigerian stock exchange, any change in the executive and non-executive boards must be reported to the investing public via the NGX.

Adewale Arogundade, who acted as the assistant company secretary, took over from Seye Kosoko as the new company on Monday, March 7, 2022.

According to the statement, the development is as a result of a change in role for the former company secretary to the company's commercial banking subsidiary to support and further strengthen the company’s public-sector business in line with her Talent Management Framework.

Who is Adewale Arogundade?

According to his LinkedIn profile, Adewale Arogundade has spent more than 21 years with First Bank of Nigeria Plc.

He joined as a legal manager in 1991, where he spent 18 years and 3 months, after which his exemption performance got him promoted to the position of assistant company secretary of First Bank of Nigeria Plc.

Based on recommendations and a good report about how well he led, FBN Holding promoted him to assistant company secretary for the group in August 2013.

The group has expressed confidence in his interpersonal, communication, and technical skills and deemed it fit to promote him to this new position.
