Seyi Shay Opens Up How Fight With Tiwa Savage Could Have Been Messier

Nigerian songstress Seyi Shay has talked about her fight with Tiwa Savage, saying that things could have been messier had she not been at peace with herself.

Seyi Shay and Tiwa Savage had gotten into an altercation when the former had walked up to the latter to say hello. Tiwa had unexpected lashed out at her colleague, reminding her about the words of her lyrics in she and Victoria Kimani's covers of Kizz Daniel's F**k You track.

In a recent interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Seyi Shay disclosed that the fight with Tiwa could have been a lot different if she had not worked over the years to find her center.

“I feel like If I had not worked hard over the years, trying to find my peace, praying and fasting, bringing myself up to a different vibration, trust me the outcome of that fight with Tiwa would have turned out differently", she said.

“I won’t also say that I wasn’t shocked on how a harmless hello turned into a fight. Like I only approached her to say hello because at that time a lot of us were going through stuffs and Hi or hello could simply be a way of checking up on someone.

“But this circumstance was very different but it wasn’t a mistake, everything that happened was meant to happen."
