#Shedibalabala: Why Do Women Encourage Degrading Songs?

Nollywood actor and songwriter, Yemi Blaq has reacted to the trend of women dancing to songs that clearly categorize them as sexual objects.

In an Instagram video on his Instagram page, the media personality expressed his confusion as to why women will come for anybody's head if anything is spoken against them but will gladly dance to a song that sexually objectifies them.

Pointing to the 'Shedi Bala Bala' song as an example, Blaq said it beats him why women will dance to songs as derogatory as that but will be triggered over debates such as 'women can't cook' or 'women are weak'.
