Shehu Sani Declares Unknown Gunmen Terrorists

Civil rights activist and former Senator representing Kaduna Central Zone, Shehu Sani has said that the so-called Unknown Gunmen many persons in the South East often blame for recent deadly attacks, are “terrorists”.

Sani was on Monday reacting to news reports about one Kenneth Ibe, a 300-level Law student in Imo State University (IMSU), who was seized by Unknown Gunmen and gruesomely murdered.

AllNews gathered that the student, a native of Isiala Mbano local government area of the state was killed last Friday by criminals and his body dumped along the road.

The feigned Unknown Gunmen, since at least late last year, set public institutions on fire; they seize arms and ammunition belonging to security officials and kill them in the process. Civilians are also not spared.

Meanwhile, Sani, who defected to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on 16 September, is expected to hold an official ceremony and reception later this week. He joined the PDP having left the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) in July.
