The Nigerian Shippers Council (NSC) has appealed to members of the public and private sectors in the country to complement the efforts of the Federal Government in providing humanitarian assistance to vulnerable citizens.
Executive Secretary of the Council Emmanuel Jime disclosed this when he led members of the agency to the Primary Healthcare Center located in Piwoyi Community of AMAC to donate items.
Jime who was represented by the Director of the Abuja Liason Office Karimatu Othman said the visit was part of the organisation’s corporate social responsibility.
On her part, the head of the center Sidikat Abdulsalam appreciated the NSC for the donation, saying it will go a long way in improving the quality of service being provided.
Some of the items donated include Mosquito nets, Washing machines, and towels amongst others.
