Nigerian vocalist Simi has taken to Instagram to appreciate her baby Adejare, as her recent music effort "Duduke" hits 10 million views on American video-sharing platform YouTube.
In her post, she vowed to take care of Adejard from the proceeds made from the release of "Duduke" which was widely accepted by music lovers.
Also appreciating her fans, she wrote "#SimiArmy You colour my life. Thank you!! #Duduke10million Thank you Deja ?☺️ You deserve some of this money, but I'll spend it for both of us my lil burrito"
"Duduke” was released on Sunday, April 19, which happens to be her 32nd birthday and it has since been on the lips of her fans.
Simi who dropped the melodious song while still pregnant with her first child had explained that the song generally celebrates motherhood.
“Many people have asked me what #duduke means - it's the beat of your heart or the beat of the drums you move your body to, or the beat you sing a melody to - it's whatever beat you want it to be ?? - I know (you know) why I made this song, but I want you to make it your own. Enjoy yourself. No limits. That's the beauty of true music.
“Also, we're celebrating mums, mums to be, and the amazing women that are praying to be moms as well, as it will soon be Mother's day. So like I said before - let us see ur towel bellies, your pot bellies, your flat bellies. I just want to see you dance and sing and whateve else ??"
She alongside her husband Adekunle Gold welcomed Adejare on May 31st, this year.
