Popular Nigerian songstress Seyi Shay has announced the arrival of her first child.
The star made the announcement on her Instagram page on Friday, sharing an image from the cover of a magazine and comparing her newborn to an eagle.
In the picture, Sheyi Shay smiles while cradling her bulging baby bump as she is draped in white apparel.
"The Eagle has landed, What a journey it's been! Read all about it... Thank you ALL for ur well wishes. We love you... Watch this space for more diaries...", the post reads.
The arrival of the baby comes after the singer's recent gender reveal, attended by friends, fans, and well-wishers.
At the party, Seyi Shay disclosed that she was expecting a baby girl and those in attendance prayed for her, assuring her that she would be a great mother.
