Singer Tems, has achieved a major feat as she has debuted on the Billboard top 100 list.
This was made possible with her collaboration in Wizkid's 'Essence' which debuted at Number 82 spot on this week's Billboard 100.
The feat earns Tems her first career entry on the chart.
The information was revealed in a recent post made by Billboard on the microblogging app, Twitter. The tweet reads, “Wizkid’s “Essence,” featuring @temsbaby, debuts at Number 82 on this week’s #Hot100. It earns Tems her first career entry on the chart.”
'Essence' is one of the tracks on Wizkid's 'Made in Lagos' album (which has surpassed 100 million streams across five platforms) and the collaboration with Tems has only made the upcoming artist more prominent.
Since the release of the song, American socialites and celebrities like Kevin Hart, Khloe Kardashian, Malika Haqq, Kylie Jenner, and more have all vibed to it.
Bursting onto the music scene in August 2019 with her hit single 'Try Me', Tems has become one of the hottest new acts around, winning fans over with her creative sound and alluring looks.
Wizkid featured her in the eleventh song in his 'Made in Lagos' album 'Essence', and that has proven to be a really wise decision.
Speaking on the song, Tems said she could have delivered a better verse on the track.
