Six Escape Unhurt, Two Injured In Osun Multiple Crash

Two persons have been reported injured in a multiple accident which occured on Saturday morning in Osun State.

According to the First Information Report made available by the Osun Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), the crash occured at 11:00am at the Igbelajewa- Adeyeba bend along the Ipetu-Jesa-Ilesa road.

The information also revealed that the total number of persons involved in the accident were eight which comprised of six adult males and two adult females.

The crash which involved a red Bajaj Motorbike without a registration number and an ash coloured Toyota Camry with registration number KTU 607 YF occured as a result of Speeding violation.

The Toyota car and bike which were destroyed in the accident have been towed to the police Divisional Headquarter, Ijebu-Jesa.

Meanwhile, the Osun FRSC Sector Command spokesperson, Agnes Ogungbemi has called on road users to apply caution during the Yuletide holiday.
