Six Quarry Workers Kidnapped In Ikere Ekiti

Six quarry workers have been allegedly kidnapped along Ise/ Ikere Ekiti road by yet-to-be-identified gunmen.

At the time of filing this report, the Ekiti State Police Command is yet to confirm the development.

The kidnappers have also not made contact with family members, friends or associates.

The rising level of kidnapping and insecurity in the South West states is becoming worrisome as some pundits have asserted that the Nigerian Police are too poorly equipped to tackle the menace.
