Six-Year-Old Boy Killed By Family Had Organs Frozen

According to a statement on Tuesday, the body of a 6-year-old child, Damari Perry, who was found dead on Saturday in Indiana, United States, has shown evidence of partially frozen internal organs.

The boy's mother, brother and sister have all been charged in connection with his death, which the coroner in Lake County, Indiana, has ruled as a homicide.

His mother, aged 38, has been charged with first-degree murder, and his 20-year-old brother has been charged with aggravated battery on a child. His sister has also been charged, but officials have not released the identity and charges because of the suspect's age.

A statement on Tuesday from Lake County Coroner, David J. Pastrick said the child was found naked in a trash bag. The statement also said one of his legs showed signs of bruising.

It said; "The body displayed evidence of extremely cold core temperature and partially frozen internal organs."

"Based on the above findings and the circumstance the pending cause of death is hypothermia. The manner of death was determined to be a homicide."

The North Chicago police have said that the victim’s mother and 20-year-old brother reported him missing on January 5, and claimed the victim's 16-year-old sister took him to a party where she passed out after drinking only to discover him missing.

The Lake County State’s Attorney claimed the family's statement was false.
