Nigerian singer Skales has released the official music video for his latest song ‘Konibaje’, a song he released in memory of his late mother.
Directed by Stanz Visuals, a frequent collaborator with Skales, the video was shot in Lagos, Nigeria and showcases the vibrant African dance culture that is integral to Skales' music.
The video for ‘Konibaje’ captures the positive energy and hope inspired by the song's reception and features a dance for all to enjoy.
Speaking about the story behind the video for ‘Konibaje’, Skales says, “I have received overwhelming love and deep connection to this song in the last few months but the joyous energy and hope from the comments of my fans was what I wanted to show in this video.
“Simple and fun, and there is a dance for everyone. That’s the spirit of Konibaje.”
