Slack Joining GPT AI Trend To Enhance User Experience

Slack Joining GPT AI Trend To Enhance User Experience

Salesforce has unveiled Slack GPT during its World Tour NYC event, describing it as a three-pronged concept that incorporates AI technologies into the business messaging platform.

The components of Slack GPT include AI-powered capabilities that are already included in the app, a new AI-ready platform that was just made accessible to developers, and the inclusion of Einstein GPT, which will enable the app's capacity to produce insights and summaries instantaneously.

Salesforce created Einstein GPT as a generative artificial intelligence (AI) for customer relationship management (CRM) that might help companies with activities involving sales.

Users will have access to a workflow builder that they can utilise without having to know how to code thanks to the embedded AI capabilities.

They may instantly generate or update a canvas in it, a tool for collaboration created by Slack.

By hitting a button, users may also command Einstein GPT to record, summarise, and produce canvases from Huddle calls.

However, businesses are not required to use Einstein GPT alone.

They may include any major language model of their choosing, including OpenAI's, onto the new Slack platform that is AI-ready. In reality, the ChatGPT software for the chat platform is still in testing, but a Claude (Anthropic) app is already accessible for Slack.

Customers may be assured by Salesforce that Anthropic and OpenAI won't use their Slack app data to train their language models.

Salesforce stated that Slack GPT is being created to increase users' productivity and provided a number of applications for its capabilities.

These functionalities might be used by sales teams to automatically generate investor canvases, account channel reports, and customer recommendations.

Customer care representatives can swiftly solve problems and provide case summaries using AI-generated answers and responses.

When identifying solutions for problems in their software, developers can use the features to scan for channel activities and summarise root cause analysis.

For marketers, AI technologies may also produce images and content automatically for blogs, email campaigns, and social media postings.

The new AI-ready platform, the Einstein GPT app for Slack, and the native AI features of Slack GPT are currently under development; a release date has not yet been announced.

Along with Slack GPT, Salesforce also disclosed its intentions to work with Accenture "to accelerate the deployment of generative AI for CRM."

According to reports, the firms intend to give businesses and organisations the technology and support they require to implement Einstein GPT in order to boost productivity and enhance customer experiences.
