So-Safe Corps Apprehend Suspected Thieves In Ogun

So-Safe operatives in Ogun State have apprehended three suspects, Akinsola Kabir, Toheeb Muraino and Sule Usman while attempting to steal from a manufacturing company.

In a statement made available by Moruf Yusuf, So-Safe Director of Information and Public Relations and obtained by AllNews Nigeria, after apprehending the three suspects who broke into Comester Manufacturing Company Limited, Agbara Industrial Estate, two of their fellow robbers other suspects escaped and fled.

Yusuf also revealed that the suspects were apprehended after the second robbery incident at the company.

He revealed that on the first occasion, the robbers who came armed inflicted machete cuts on So-Safe personnel.

The robbery, the agency spokesperson added, was perpetrated on Friday, August 12, 2022, and the agency swung into action following a tip-off that the operation was underway.

Items recovered from the suspects include eight bags of 40mm, 60mm and 80mm steel balls, cutlass, iron bar, a black amd white coloured LT35 Volkswagen bus with registration number AKD 986 XF.

He explained that the suspects and items recovered from them have been transferred to the Nigeria Police, Agbara Divisional Police Station for further investigation and likely prosecution.
