The Kaduna State Government confirmed on Saturday, that the military has neutralised three terrorists and recovered three AK-47 rifles, motorcycles and three AK-47 magazines in the process.
Samuel Aruwan, the Commissioner of Internal Security and Home Affairs in the state said this in a statement on Saturday, when he disclosed that the soldiers laid an ambush at a suspected terrorists’ major route.
He added that; "As the terrorists approached, the soldiers opened fire on them, just as the bandits engaged them in a fierce battle too."
"The criminals returned fire but were overpowered by the soldiers. Three terrorists were neutralized in the process."
He said the terrorists were engaged during patrols along the Telele-Sabon Gida road in the Chikun Local Government Area of the state.
