Soludo Orders Biometric Registration For  Wheelbarrow Pusher

The Governor of Anambra state, Professor Charles Soludo has ordered all wheelbarrow pushers and commercial drivers in the state to do biometric registration.

This was disclosed in a statement by the Permanent Secretary, Anambra State Ministry of Transportation, Louisa Ezeanya.

Ezeanya revealed that the biometric registration had already commenced on June 2, 2022.

According to the statement, those affected by the order include wheelbarrow pushers and commercial drivers of tricycles, shuttle and minibuses/semi-trucks, tippers, lorries and heavy-duty trucks in the state.

The statement further called on all those affected to comply with the government's directives. 

Ezeanya also said that the government had commenced free revalidation and recertification of all private motor parks in the state, urging owners to take note.
