Soludo: We Won't Tolerate Repeat of Imo Experience in Anambr

Soludo of APGA Winner Of Anambra Governorship Election

Youths of Anambra State have vowed to resist any attempt to replicate the court processes that threw up Governor Hope Uzodimma in Imo State, stating that such an attempt by any politician to upturn Prof. Chukwuma Soludo's victory would be resisted.

Speaking under the aegis of United Anambra Youth for Good Governance, the group urged all the candidates that participated in the election to respect the decision of the people.

Speaking for the group, Ndubuisi Igwekala warned that the choice of the people must not be tampered with.

“Let the candidates respect the mandate given to Soludo by the people. We don’t want any court magic, we want peace in Anambra State.”

“We want the choice of the people to remain so that he will focus and bring development to the people. Anambra people have spoken; they have voted their choice candidate and a new Governor and it must be respected.”

They called on all the candidates who participated in the election to maintain the peace accord that was signed before the polls, not to trouble the people and waste taxpayers’ money by going to court.

“We won’t want what happened in Imo State to happen in Anambra. We will resist it with our blood; we will not tolerate such nonsense again, enough is enough.

“We don’t want any more problems in Anambra and the South East. That election was free and fair; all of them went out and canvassed for votes and the people made their choice at the polls.”
