Nkosinathi Phakathi is facing 90 rape charges after he acknowledged to nine years of terrorizing the Ekurhuleni neighbourhood of Johannesburg, South Africa.
At the Palm Ridge High Court on Wednesday, Phakathi pleaded guilty to 148 counts, among them the accusation of rape.
According to EWN, Phakathi is accused of raping 38 juveniles, the youngest of them was nine years old.
In South Africa, the punishment for raping a minor is life in prison.
He is also charged with 52 charges of raping adults, each of which carries a 15-year maximum sentence.
Phakathi, who was shot in the leg while evading the police and apprehended in March, will be sentenced in court next Tuesday.
