    South Africa: Man Steals Father’s Gun, Shoots Ex-Girlfrien

    A Man In South Africa Reportedly Stole His Father’s Gun, Shoots Ex-girlfriend And Daughter Dead.

    A man allegedly stole his father’s gun and shot his former girlfriend and her daughter dead before turning the gun on himself in Bela Bela, Limpopo, South Africa.

    Speaking on behalf of the Limpopo Provincial Police, Brigadier Motlafela Mojapelo said the investigation into the shooting deaths of a 38-year-old man's ex-girlfriend and her daughter at Leana Hof in Bela-Bela on Saturday included two counts of murder, theft of a firearm, and unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition.

    "The suspect allegedly went to the victim's house at about 12 PM and apparently without saying anything fired some shots at the woman, aged 34, and her daughter, 11, before killing himself. They all died instantly.

    "The police were notified about the incident, and upon arrival with the emergency services, the three victims were all certified dead at the scene," he said.

    He identified the three as Lee Cloete, age 11, Abrahams Carmen Cloete, age 34, and Ndlovu Hendrick Muzi, age 38, the alleged shooter.

    "Preliminary investigation revealed that the suspect stole his father's firearm," he further added.
