South African Policewoman Nabbed In Cocaine Bust Worth Milli

Two South African women from Durban, one of them a police officer were arrested after cocaine with a street value of R6m (N143,494,560.00) was found at a flat the women reside in. 

Col. Boysie Zungu, a spokesman for Metro Police, stated that the squad was informed that cocaine was being stashed in a flat in the Point neighbourhood.

To verify the information, surveillance was carried out, and a search warrant was obtained.

The squad discovered "a substantial amount of pure cocaine" worth roughly R6 million when they searched the apartment.

The 52-year-old and 49-year-old ladies were detained and charged at the local area police station, according to Zungu.

He stated that "One of the women is a police officer."
