South African Shot, Killed In Restaurant

A South African man was shot and killed during a heated argument in a popular seafood restaurant in White River, South Africa on Saturday evening.

Paramedics arrived at the incident at 8:00 p.m. (South African time) on Saturday, according to Emer-G-Med spokesperson Kyle van Reenen.

"On Saturday, around 20h00, Emer-G-Med paramedics responded to a shooting incident at a popular seafood restaurant in White River."

Van Reenen stated that upon arrival at the scene, a guy in his fifties was discovered to have fatal gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead by paramedics.

According to reports from the scene, two guys were engaged in a heated disagreement when one drew a pistol and shot and killed the other.

“The South African Police Services were in attendance and will be conducting the necessary investigation accordingly.” Kyle van Reenen stated further.
