According to Sowore, there was no need for the speaker to have hundreds of security aides.
Sowore faulted the speaker for not returning to the scene of the incident after his security detail shot at the newspaper vendor.
Further likening the empathy showed by Gbajabiamila to the family of the late vendor to crocodile tears Sowore wrote:
"CROC TEARS:@femigbaja behaving as if he cares, there is no need on earth for a speaker of the house to have 100 security aides-police, DSS, civil Defense etc...this vendor was shot thrice by lawless DSS aide to Gbaja! Even when informed he never returned to the scene!."
AllNews had earlier reported that Gbajabiamila while confirming the development, explained that his security aide shot at the air to disperse some unidentified men that obstructed his convoy.
He further revealed that he got the news of the vendor's death hours after getting to his destination.
"Some hours later, after getting to our destination, it was brought to my attention that someone was hit by a stray bullet, contrary to an earlier report by men in the convoy that they applied their security discretion to shoot in the air," he said.
Further revealing that the officer responsible for the shooting had been suspended from his convoy pending the conclusion of investigations, Gbajabiamila said that no family deserves to go through such loss.
