Sowore: Senate Probes DSS' Invasion Of Courtroom

 

The Senate has set up a committee to probe the invasion of a Federal High Court in Abuja by operatives of the Department of State Services, DSS, to re-arrest RevolutionNow convener, Omoyele Sowore.

President of the Senate, Ahmed Lawan, mandated the committee on Judiciary, Human Rights and Legal matters to look into the incident.

According to him, since the matter concerned the judiciary, the Senate Committee on Judiciary, Human Rights and Legal Matters chaired by Senator Bamidele should investigate the matter.

The committee is expected to submit its report next week.
