Spain defeated Georgia 3-1 as the visitors squared up against the European giants in the EURO 2024 qualifiers on Sunday.
After the early exchanges with the home side showing their dominance in the game, they took the lead in the 4th minute thanks to a goal from Robin Le Normand to make it 1-0 to Spain.
However, the visitors equalize to make it 1-1 apiece thus giving the Spanish side much to ponder in the second half. Georgia's Khvicha Kvaratskhelia scored in the 10th minute of the first half.
Spain took the lead yet again, thanks to a brilliant finish from Ferran Torres in the second half to make it 2-1. The Barcelona star scored in the 55th minute of the match.
It was later 3-1 to Spain as more pressure from the host got Georgia into conceding further goals in the match.
Georgia's Luka Lochoshvili conceded an own goal in the 72nd minute of the game. It finished 3-1 in favour of Spain in the EURO 2024 Qualifiers.
