Aloy Ejimakor, the Special Counsel to Biafra political activist, Nnamdi Kanu, and the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has once again posited that the "destructive" presidency is what brought President Muhammadu Buhari to power in 2015, AllNews reports.
Ejimakor said this on his known Twitter handle on Thursday.
"The Presidency is the most destructive institution in Nigeria," Ejimakor opined.
"The North has killed for it. The West has betrayed for it. The East has suffered for it.
"It triggered a Civil War and bloody coup after bloody coup.
"It’s what brought Buhari and it is what will sink Nigeria in 2023 (Nigeria's next General Elections)."
IPOB, the now-outlawed group which Ejimakor identifies with, has criticized the Nigerian federal government for its poor investment, inequitable resource distribution, ethnic marginalization, and heavy military presence in the Biafran region.

IPOB's main aim, AllNews understands, is the restoration of the independent state of Biafra in the former Eastern Region of Nigeria through an independence referendum.
