Spider-Man 3: Why You Should Take The Titles Shared By Movie's Stars Seriously

Even though Spider-Man 3  lead stars have shared three different titles of the film to confuse fans, we should take them seriously.

In their most recent Instagram posts, Spider-Man star Tom Holland, MJ actress Zendaya, and Ned actor Jacob Batalon uploaded images of them on the set of the superhero film, with three different titles.

The thing is, all the actors claim that their title is the right one and fans have been left confused as they can't decide which is the right one.

First of all, Holland shared his; Spider-Man: Phone Home, then Zendaya gave hers as Spider-Man: Home Slice. Lastly, Batalon said it's Spider-Man: Home-Wrecker.

Let's all look past the obvious deception for a second and try and see the bigger picture here. This is obviously a ploy that aims to mislead while giving clues.

Among the different rumors being spread about the upcoming film is that previous actors who portrayed the web-slinging superhero will make an appearance. These actors are Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield. The news was denied of course.  

If the past is any indication, the fact that Maguire and Garfield's involvement was denied by Holland doesn't make it false. Actors have been known to deny rumors about their movies and in the end, such news was confirmed upon the release of the film.

In this case, the three different titles could be a major distraction to hide one important plot point; that the third Spidey film will feature other versions of alternate universes involving other versions of Spider-Man.

We all know that the multiverse in the MCU will be cracked open in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, but what stops it from being featured here?

Other versions of Spider-Man don't necessarily mean Maguire and Garfield will appear because that would be too obvious (a fact that Marvel Studios knows all too well). The decision to cast other actors no one expects could have been made. It will all be unveiled in time.

For now, we can only hope to get more clues and try to decipher them as they come.
