Spotlighting Fintech Startups Hiring As Tech Giants Are Firi

For some time now, news has been agog about tech giants like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, IBM, etc. firing employees.

However, we are having a scenario where this negative development is being counterbalanced by positive hiring streaks from Fintech startups.

While some of these roles being hired are outrightly office-based, some are remote, and others are hybrid.

The Comprehensive List of Currently Hiring Fintech Startups


Addepar is known for making software for tracking investment performance.

It is actively hiring with roughly 50 open roles across the U.S., UK, and India (many of the roles are for remote work).  

The company raised $150 million at a $2.17 billion valuation in June 2021.

Currently, Addepar has about 850 clients and over $4 trillion in client assets on its platform.


Collective is an all-in-one back-office finance platform for the self-employed.

It has raised over $28 million in funding and is hiring for five roles across engineering, marketing, and member services (tax, accounting).

Collective raised its latest round, a Series A, in May 2021.


Nium is a B2B payments company that raised $200 million at a unicorn valuation in 2021.  

It is currently hiring and has a dozen open roles. 


As a spend optimization company, Emburse has just appointed a new CXO Johann Wrede.

It has offices in six countries. Emburse is hiring for nine open roles including in sales, engineering, and customer success.

Human Interest

Human Interest is famed as a 401(k) provider. It recently increased total funding to $500 million, including an investment from BlackRock.

Human Interest currently has 23 open roles, including in engineering, product, and revenue.


Kikoff  is a consumer fintech company that is focused on helping people build credit. It raised $30 million in June 2021.

Kikoff is hiring for 10 roles (a mix of hybrid and remote), including senior product manager, and associate product manager.
