"The Senate members have shown on several occasions due to personal interest and other ulterior motives and made it clear that they can not work with me as a Muslim who has been lenient with the school management.

"The aforementioned reasons are what led to this kangaroo suspension, which is null and void.

"I want make it categorically clear that I will not be part of any protest that will undermine the peace, tranquility and the security of our dear State and university, especially at time our country is going through a lot of challenges. However we will continue to channel our concerns and grievances via dialogue with the appropriates authorities.

"In addition, I was not aware of any emergency sitting that held yesterday leading to this so called suspension. I was also not called on to appear before any committee for investigation.
