State Assembly, NASIDA Synergize To Woo More Investors To Na

The Nasarawa State House of Assembly has expressed its readiness to effectively partner with the Nasarawa Investment and Development Agency (NASIDA) in order to attract more investors to the State.

The Chairman, House Committee on Capital Market, Commerce and Industry, Mohammed Isah Bello, stated this when the Management of NASIDA appeared before the committee on its 2023 budget defence on Tuesday in Lafia.

Bello said that attracting more investors to the State would boost its revenue, generate employment and improve the standard of living of the people of the state.

“I want to commend you over your agency's good budget performance.

“You are doing well and we will continue to support you to succeed,” he said. 

The Chairman also commended Governor Abdullahi Sule for his efforts in wooing investors to the State.

Earlier,  Ibrahim Abdullahi, the Managing Director (MD) of NASIDA said that since the establishment of the agency in the State, it has attracted many public-private partnership projects to the State.

He assured that the agency would continue to attract investments to the State considering its importance to societal development.

The Managing-Director commended the committee and Governor Sule for support of the agency's success.
