At the close of business on Friday, November 12, 2021, the ASI ended trading with a 43,253.01 basis point which represented a -0.68% fall from its previous day figure of 43,610.28 basis point.
The volume of shares sold was 314.9 million units valued at N4.7 billion as against the previous day trade where 161.3 million units of shares worth N2.1 billion were traded.
Market breadth was slightly positive as 16 companies gained against the15 companies that lost at the close of trade on Friday.
The gainers' chart was led by VERITASKAP, REDSTAREX, CHIPLC, REGALINS, and FINCOCOA with percentage gains of 9.52%, 6.35%, 5.45%, 5.26%, 4.76% respectively.
However, the losers' chart was led by UPDC, LIVERSTOCK, PRESTIGE, GLAXOSMITH with percentage loss of -9.47%, -8.68%, 8.51%, and -6.25% respectively.
The most active stocks were FBNH, STANBIC, GTCO, FLOUR MILL, and MTN with 129.8million, 19.5million, 18.4million, 16.3million, and 1.8million shares actively traded by investors.
Traders can only hope for a better bullish run next week as the market closes for the weekend.
