The Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) market closed with 3,746.00 deals on Friday, March 26th, 2021, lower than the 4,016.00 deals on Thursday, March 25th, 2021. The volume reached 250,923,440.00 units at the close of the market on Friday higher than the 229,417,359.00 units it closed with on Thursday.

The value of trades recorded on Friday was N2,790,026,840.07 with the All-Share Index of 39,216.20 an increase of -0.20% or -76.94 over Wednesday's value of 39,293.14

The stock market also ended with an equity cap of N20.52 trillion capitalization on Friday lower than the N20.56 trillion recorded on Thursday

Top Five Gainers
Guinness
led the top gainers' chart after its stock price gained N2.70 to close trading at N30.00 kobo per share after opening the trading with N27.30 kobo per share indicating a 9.89 percent change, according to the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) market data seen by AllNews.

Prestige was second on the chart, as its stock price gained NGN0.04 kobo equivalent to a 9.76 percent change to close the market with N0.45 kobo per share, having started trading with N0.41 kobo per share.

Sovereign Trust Insurance, been third on the gainers' list closed the market with NGN0.45 kobo per share from the opening price of N0.41 kobo per share which represents an increase of N0.02 kobo gain indicating a 9.09% change in the share price.

UACN takes the fourth spot, having closed the market with NGN8.70 kobo gain, 8.75 percent change in the share price to end trading at N8.70 kobo per share from the opening share price of N8.00 kobo per share.

ABC Transport was last on the list after its share price gained NGN0.02 kobo, a change of 7.14 percent to close trading at N0.30 kobo per share, having opened trade at N0.28 per share.

Top Five Losers
FTN Cocoa
tops the decliners' list today Friday, March 26th, 2021, having begun trading at NGN0.46 kobo per share, only to drop in price by NGN-0.05 kobo indicating a -9.80% change to close at NGN0.46 kobo per share at the end of trading.

Jaiz Bank was second on the chart after closing at NGN0.59 kobo per share from its opening trade price of NGN0.65 kobo per share; this represents a -7.22 percent loss or NGN-0.02 kobo.

Royal Exchange also recorded a drop in its share price as it declined by NGN-0.02 kobo which is a -7.69 percent change in its market share, to close trading at NGN0.24 kobo per share, below the NGN0.26 kobo per share it opened with.

Wapic Insurance share price fell by NGN-0.04 kobo a percentage change of -7.27%, as its share price closed trading at NGN0.51 kobo per share, lower than the NGN0.45 kobo per share it opened with.

African Alliance Insurance completed the top five decliners chart after it closed trading with NGN0.20 kobo per share, losing NGN-0.01 kobo, a drop of -4.76 percent in its market share price, from the NGN0.21 kobo per share it opened trading with.

Top Five Trades
AllNews learnt that the top trade in the stock market for Thursday 26th March 2021 is UBN which traded a volume of over 79.23 million units worth over N419.90 million.

Zenith Bank is the second on the list with a volume of over 21.01 million units worth overNGN462.00 million.

Third On the list is Guaranty Trust Bank having traded with over 19.79 million units worth N619.62 million.

Guinness was fourth on the most traded stock market list today, closing the market with over N112.56 million units traded at over NGN372.08 million.

UBA completes the top five list with 10.28 million units traded at NGN69.95 Million.
