Students Of MOCPED Commend School Management On Free Interne

Students of Michael Otedola College of Primary Education (MOCPED), Noforija in Epe Division in Lagos, have commended the management of the institution for providing free internet facilities for students.

The students made the commendation in an interview with the press in Epe, on Tuesday. Tunde Ogunpe, a member of the student union government, said that the initiative of the provost of the institution, Professor Nosiru Onibon was encouraging.

“That is the case of the provost of the college. He is forthright in his approach and dealings within the college premises.

“The institution has witnessed tremendous development and improvement since the inception of Onibon as the provost of the college in 2017 to 2018.

“Lots of structural buildings has been erected in the college and other interventions and laudable programs have taken place,’’ he said.

Also, Bisi Adekoya, a student said that the free internet facility provided by the management would help to enhance teaching and learning of the students and help their research findings online.

“There won’t be any basis for students to spend much time in the cyber cafe, the free internet will help in our research work online,’’ she said.

Also, Yomi Samuel has urged the school management to monitor and regulate the use of the free internet facility to curb abuse such as internet fraud, cybercrime among other social media crimes.

“Therefore, the management should censor and regulate its usage, he said.
